Incident of the week

At 3:57 a.m. on Friday, April 5 in the 23200 block of 212th Avenue SE MVFLS and King County Paramedics were dispatched with King County Sheriff’s officers to a shooting. Firefighters/EMT’s and King County Paramedics staged nearby until the area was secure.  A homeowner had reportedly shot a male and a female trespasser that were on his property.

The female patient was found outside of a storage container and was treated for a gunshot wound to the abdomen.  She was transported to Cedar River Middle School and then airlifted to a local trauma center. The male patient was found inside the storage container and was determined dead at the scene.
