Maple Valley Finance Director receives Professional Finance Officer award for eighth straight year

Maple Valley Finance Director Shawn Hunstock received the Professional Finance Officer award from the Maple Valley City Council at a meeting Oct. 27.

A Maple Valley press release said the award recognizes Hunstock’s “continued professional development and achievements in the governmental finance arenas.” Hunstock has received this award for eight consecutive years.

Designated Washington Finance Officers Association professional finance officers must meet required annual criteria, submit a renewal application and receive committee approval each year without a lapse.
