The Maple Valley Farmers Market 5th Annual Fresh Fruit Pie Baking Contest will be held Saturday, July 19.

There will be three age divisions for this contest: Youth (17 & under), Adult (18-49) and Senior (50 & over). Pie submissions must be fresh fruit pies only — no tarts, crisps, creams, meringues, pumpkins, custards. etc.

Pies can be dropped off, at the market from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. No pies will be accepted after 11:30 a.m. Judging will commence at 11:45 a.m.

Awards including up to $50 in market bucks for first place, $40 market bucks for second place and $30 market bucks for third place, certificates and ribbons will be handed out to the winning participants.
