The city of Maple Valley Emergency Coordination Center Emergency Preparedness Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8 at Rock Creek Elementary.

“What to do before/after a disaster”

Noon to 1 p.m.

“Disaster Preparedness for Animals”

Guardian One helicopter will land at 1 p.m. Law enforcement vehicles from King County and Maple Valley will be present as well. Disaster supply starter kits will be available for $15, $12 including a tote.

There will also be booths on display from various organizations.

Rock Creek Elementary is located at 25700 Maple Valley Black Diamond Road SE, Maple Valley.
