- DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: 32400 block of 2nd Avenue. Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 32400 block of 2nd Avenue for a possible domestic Violence incident that was occurring. Upon arrival officers contacted the woman involved, who advised the incident was involving her boyfriend. Both parties reside together and the woman advised her boyfriend pushed her to the ground because he was mad at her for coming home late the night before. The woman sustained minor injuries. Officers attempted to locate the male subject, who fled once he learned the police were dispatched to the residence. Criminal charges were filed on the male subject.
- WARRANT ARREST: Abrams Avenue. An officer observed a vehicle traveling on Abrams Avenue with a man driving that had a misdemeanor warrant for his arrest on controlled substance charges. The officer confirmed the warrant and a routine record check showed the man’s license was suspended. A traffic stop was initiated on the vehicle and the man was arrested without incident. He was booked into Buckley jail on the warrant and issued a criminal citation for the suspended license. The vehicle was impounded and a 30 day hold was placed on it due to the male driver having two prior convictions for suspended licenses.
- SHOPLIFTING: 216th Avenue Southeast. Officers were dispatched to a business along 216th Avenue Southeast for a report of two juvenile males inside the business shoplifting. Upon arrival officers contacted an employee of the business and the two juvenile males. The employee could not confirm that the juveniles shoplifted anything, but still wanted trespass notices issued. Officers issued the male juveniles trespass notifications and released them to their parents.
