April 25

CAR PROWL: 15800 block of Southeast 254th Place. The owner of a vehicle noticed scuff marks on the car door and that it had been left ajar. The marks were consistent with those made by a jimmying tool. No damage was done to the vehicle and nothing was stolen though it had been rifled through.

APRIL 24

FOUND: Southeast 267th Street and 182nd Avenue Southeast. A city of Covington employee found two pistols in the pond at Jenkins Creek Park. One had been reported stolen and the other was not registered.

VIOLENT THREAT: 26900 block of 169th Place Southeast. A man was arrested for threatening to kill his girlfriend after an argument over money. He held a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her.

April 22

NEED TO MAKE A CALL: 28700 block of Southeast 272nd Street. Four suspects entered the T-Mobile store and stole two phones. One of the suspects used scissors to disable the security devices on the phones which were not recovered. The primary suspect was not found while the other three were trespassed.

April 23

HARASSMENT: 27700 block of 213th Court Southeast. Someone covered the victim’s front yard and car with Silly String, cereal and lotion.

April 22

BURGLARIES: 27400 block of 237th Avenue Southeast. A burglar broke into an occupied home that had been left unlocked in Shanlemar Meadow. Another homeowner in the same neighborhood reported a burglary during the same time frame. The suspect appears to have entered that home through an unlocked rear sliding door and stole cash from a purse.

THEFT: 24000 block of 222nd Place Southeast. A woman believes that either her granddaughter or her granddaughter’s boyfriend took a necklace from her home in the past three weeks.

April 21

FRAUD: 27700 block of 254th Way Southeast. While checking her account balance online, a woman who keeps a close eye on her bank account noticed a number of chargers to her account that she didn’t make including $422.67 at Nordstrom, $133 at Finish Line and $28 for gas at Fred Meyer among other several smaller charges.

April 19

CAR PROWL: 21200 block of Southeast 280th Street. A man discovered an unfolded paper clip in the lock of his car door. Nothing was taken, nothing was damaged and the car hadn’t been entered.
