COVINGTON

June 11

DINE AND DASH: 27100 block of 185th Avenue Southeast. After eating their meal, two diners left IHOP without paying their bill of $17.

SHOULD YOU HAVE A GUN?: 26600 block of 159th Avenue Southeast. A convicted felon assaulted his roommate using a handgun, something he should not have been in possession of, in addition to having a marijuana grow in his garage.

 

June 8

STOLEN GUN: 16700 block of Southeast 272nd Street. After shopping a woman returned to her car, which she left unlocked in the Fred Meyer parking lot, to discover the loaded handgun she kept under her front seat was gone.

 

June 6

ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL: 17400 block of Southeast 272nd Street. A man was found passed out in a stolen car in the KFC-Taco Bell parking lot. The car had been stolen from Kent. The man was arrested for possession of the stolen car.

 

MAPLE VALLEY

June 13

CURB APPEAL: 22100 block of Southeast 273rd Street. Someone took three solar yard light’s from the victim’s yard.

 

June 12

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 26300 block of 235th Avenue Southeast. Someone cut radiators out of heavy equipment stored in a fenced equipment lot. The suspects apparently cut apart the copper radiators.

 

June 11

NO CABLE FOR YOU!: 19500 block of Southeast 265th Street. A woman discovered her Comcast cable lines had been cut again, at least the third time in the past month, despite having security cameras around her home. The homeowner will be installing another camera over the area of the house where the problem continues to occur.

 

June 9

CAR PROWL SPREE: 27400 block of Southeast 238th Place. Several cars were broken into, both locked and unlocked vehicles, in the Maple Valley Crest neighborhood. The suspects took items from some vehicles and rifled through others.

 

 

June 7

SHOPLIFTER: 23600 block of Witte Road Southeast. A white, 16 year old male, described as 5-foot-8 and a heavy build wearing a black hat, blue and white checkered jacket and black shorts went into a convenience store then ran out with a bunch of items he did not pay for.

 

June 6

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 26400 block of state Route 169. Someone forced entry into a heating and air conditioning company’s office and stole scrap copper tubing.
