SPEEDING CAR: 23600 block of SE 288th Street. An officer observed a vehicle speeding and confirmed this through the use of radar. The motorist was traveling at 51 mph ina 35 mph zone. Upon stopping the vehicle the officer identified the adult female driver by her driver’s license. A record check showed the female driver had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant out of Renton on Driving with a Suspended License charge. The woman was arrested and booked into jail.

Dec. 20

SON ATTACKS DAD: 28900 block of 220th Place Southeast. Officers were dispatched to a suspicious circumstance call at a residence where an adult male subject was armed with a sword. Upon arrival officers observed the adult male subject fighting with his father over the sword.The scene was secured and upon investigation it was learned the adult male subject became agitated and attacked his father with the sword. The father was able to fight off his adult son to keep him from being seriously injured. The adult son was booked into King County Jail on Domestic Violence/Assault-1st Degree charges.
