A man was arrested for fourth degree assault after slapping an 11 year old neighbor, which left a red mark on the boy's face as well as causing pain.

ASSAULT: 21900 block of Southeast Wax Road. A man was arrested for fourth degree assault after slapping an 11 year old neighbor, which left a red mark on the boy’s face as well as causing pain.

COVINGTON

July 5

EXPLODING MAILBOX: 19200 Southeast 263rd Street. Someone put an unknown object into a mailbox. Shortly thereafter the mailbox exploded.

HIGHWAY ROBBERY: 17455 Southeast Wax Road. A man robbed his victim at knifepoint in the parking lot of a church.

June 28

IDENTIFY THEFT: 20800 block of Southeast 262nd Street. A woman found out someone had opened credit accounts in her name after she received a call from a bank regarding an account with Sears that had been opened in her name. She also discovered a KMart account had also been opened using her name.

ARGUMENT: 16600 block of Southeast 279th Place. A woman kicked her boyfriend in the groin during an argument. She was arrested on fourth degree assault.

BURGLARY: 15600 block of Southeast 264th Street. Someone broke into a home by crawling through a window in the front of the house. Nothing was stolen from the house, but dog hurdles were taken from the side yard.
