MAY 15
- FRAUD: Southeast 256th Street. A man was arrested for possession of stolen property, driving with a suspended license and for having six outstanding warrants for his arrest during a traffic stop. A female passenger in the car was in possession of burglary tools.
May 9
- KIT KAT BREAK: 16000 block of Southeast 256th Street. A food market owner reported a juvenile taking a Kit Kat candy bar and Laffy Taffy and concealing them in his pocket before leaving.
- INDECENT EXPOSURE: 17400 block of Southeast 270th Place. A man was arrested at Walmart after he exposed himself.
- PLENTY OF POT: Southeast Wax Road and 196th Avenue Southeast. A man was confronted by police for walking with his back towards traffic. He was found to be in possession of 7.3 grams of marijuana in his backpack.
MAPLE VALLEY
May 14
- ASSAULT: 2100 block of Southeast 269 Street. A husband was arrested on fourth degree assault after he threw a magnifying glass at his wife at their home.
May 13
- CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: Southeast 264th Street and 228th Avenue Southeast. A man was charged with possession of marijuana, alcohol and prescription pills when an officer discovered them in his vehicle during a traffic stop.
May 12
- THEFT: 2700 block of 227th Place Southeast. A man stole money from his brother’s safe at a home to buy illegal drugs. He was able to gain access to the safe with the key.
May 11
- FRAUD: A man attempted to use his debit card and it was declined. When he checked his bank records he found multiple unauthorized charges. Both he and his wife’s debit cards were still in their possession. Police reported that most of the fraudulent charges were made online.
- ASSAULT: 2300 block of Southeast Wax Road. Police responded to reports of assault in a parking lot. Two girls were in the parking lot arguing. One claimed she was having “ongoing issues with (her) ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend.”
May 9
- SUSPICIOUS CALLER: Southeast Wax Road and 196th Avenue Southeast. A man reported getting repeated calls from an East Indian-speaking man claiming to be a police officer from the Bureau investigative computerized or “BIC.” He then asked the man if he knew about a file against him and proceeded to ask for personal information.
