COVINGTON

April 18

INDECENT EXPOSURE: 26100 block of 159th Place Southeast. After exposing himself, a drunk man then defecated on someone’s front porch. He was also in possession of marijuana.

April 17

BURGLARY: 17300 block of Southeast 270th Place. Someone pried open the door to Kid Cuts and stole money from the business.

April 16

DRINKING AND DRIVING: 26600 block of 194th Avenue Southeast. A man was pulled over and arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol while his passenger was cited for being a minor in possession.

April 15

PURSE SNATCHED: 16700 block of Southeast 272nd Street. A woman left her purse and wallet unattended while she was clothes shopping at Fred Meyer and it was stolen while she was shopping.

POSSESSION: Southeast 279th Place and 166th Avenue Southeast. An observer reported they say two men smoking marijuana in a car. When the officer arrived a pair of males were observed smoking pot in a green Cadillac.

FRAUD: 17100 block of Southeast 272nd Street. Someone used a forged credit card to purchase gift cards at Rite-Aid.

MAPLE VALLEY

April 18

SUSPICIOUS SHOPPER: 26900 block of Maple Valley Highway. While in the parking lot of the Safeway in Four Corners a man watched another man run out of the grocery store with a shopping cart full of beer. He witnessed the other man load the items into the back of a vehicle. After observing this thinking it looked suspicious, he returned to the store and reported what he saw.

CREDIT CARD FRAUD: 23400 block of Southeast 246th Street. A man discovered someone had obtained his credit card number and used it to make nine fraudulent charges totaling about $800. The victim reported the activity to his bank which opened up a pair of fraud cases on the victim’s behalf.

April 17

WHAT A TOOL: 26400 block of 218th Avenue Southeast. Someone stole tools from an unlocked storage shed then pawned them.

DINE AND DASH: 23200 block of Maple Valley Highway. A couple described by the reporting party as a white male and white female in their 20s walked out the front door of Gloria’s restaurant without paying for their meal. When a waitress attempted to get their attention outside the restaurant they ignored her.

April 14

BAD DRIVER: 27100 block of Maple Valley Highway. After being stopped for expired tabs, the driver was driving with a suspended license third degree, had no insurance and was wanted on a midemeanor warrant by the Pacific Police Department. He also admitted he had switched the vehicle tabs.
