- I’VE GOT A PRESCRIPTION FOR THAT: 29200 block of 216th Avenue Southeast. An officer performed a routine check of a vehicle’s license plate. The information showed the registered owner had a suspended driver’s license. The officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and identified the male driver as the registered owner. The male driver admitted knowing his license was suspended and also advised he did not have vehicle insurance. After being placed under arrest for the suspended license, a small amount of marijuana was found on the male driver. The male driver admitted the marijuana was for his personal use only. The male driver was issued several criminal citations and released from the scene.

- PERSONAL SPACE: 29200 block of 216th Avenue Southeast. An officer observed a vehicle traveling with expired vehicle license tabs. The officer initiated a traffic stop and identified the male driver by his expired temporary Washing State driver’s license. A routine records check of the male driver’s information showed there was a protection order against the male driver, prohibiting any contact with a female subject. The officer observed the female subject listed on the protection order had similar characteristics of the female passenger in the vehicle. The officer positively identified the female passenger as the protected person and placed the male driver under arrest for violation of the protection order. The male driver was booked into Buckley Jail.
