The Lake Wilderness Arboretum has scheduled a plant propagation workshop 10 a.m. June 26. The cost is $15 with a $10 material fee. Preregistration is required.

The arboretum nursery is located at 22520 S.E. 248th St.

Participants learn how to successfully propagate favorite and treasured plants from cuttings. This will be a hands-on class with emphasis on plant propagation as practiced at the arboretum nursery. Learn the best time to take cuttings and how to prepare and care for the cuttings in order to root. You will produce cuttings, which will be placed in the Mist House. Four weeks later take home your rooted cuttings to plant in your own garden. Come prepared to get your hands dirty and

learn a lot.
