King County medical examiner pronounces second Kent man dead found in running car

The Kent Police Department has received information that a 32-year-old Kent man rescued from a vehicle found running in a closed garage yesterday has died.

He is the second victim of this incident. Kent Police found the pair unconscious in the car after a resident alerted them to the situation. The first victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Firefighters and paramedics resuscitated the second man at the scene and transported him to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The King County Medical Examiner notified investigators this morning that the hospitalized man expired during the early morning hours today.

Kent Police are not naming either victim at this time. That information will be released by the Medical Examiner upon notification of surviving family. The police investigation will resume tomorrow when information from the forensic examination of both victims is revealed.
