Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full council:

  • An ordinance relating to for‑hire transportation, including taxicabs, for‑hire vehicles, for‑hire drivers and transportation network companies (Ordinance 2014-0187).

Metropolitan King County Council – 1:30 p.m.

–Councilmembers will recognize the 100th Anniversary of Seattle’s Fisherman’s Terminal

–Councilmembers will hear public testimony during their monthly public comment period. Speakers will have two minutes to address Councilmembers on matters relating to county government.

Councilmembers are scheduled to discuss and possibly act on:

  • A motion confirming the membership for the task force to review the Executive’s low-income fare program implementation plan (Substitute Motion 2014-0178.2)
  • A motion related to the transfer of retired vanpool vans to nonprofit organizations and local governments to meet the needs of low-income, elderly, disabled and young county citizens (Motion 2014-0184).
