Metropolitan King County Council – 1:30 p.m.

–Councilmembers will hear public testimony during their monthly public comment period. Speakers will have two minutes to address

Councilmembers on matters relating to county government.

Councilmembers are scheduled to discuss and possibly act on:

• A motion supporting passage of state legislation enabling creation of cultural access funds (Motion 2015-0068).

• A motion adopting the King County Vision, Mission, Guiding Principles, Goals and Strategic Innovation Priorities (Motion 20140415).

• A motion accepting the Improving Programs and Services for Incarcerated Veterans Report (Motion 2015-0030).

• A motion relating to the establishment of a regional stakeholder transit task force and adopting a task force work plan (Substitute Motion 2014-0041.1).

 

Tuesday, February 24

Government Accountability and Oversight Committee – Canceled Law, Justice and Health and Human Services Committee – 1:30 p.m.

Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full council:

• An ordinance relating to the mental health and drug dependency action and implementation plans (Ordinance 2015-0049).

• An ordinance approving and adopting the updated King County Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan, as approved by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (Ordinance 2014-0471).

Wednesday, February 25

Regional Transit Committee – 3:00 p.m. ***Special Meeting***

Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full council:

• A motion relating to the King County Metro Transit Strategic Plan for Public Transportation 2011‑2021 and King County Metro Transit Service Guidelines and accepting the King County Metro Transit 2014 Service Guidelines Report (Motion 2014-0448).

• A motion relating to the King County Metro Strategic Plan for Public Transportation 2011‑2021 and the King County Metro Service Guidelines, and accepting the King County Metro Access to Transit Phase 1 Report (Motion 2015-0032).
