o   The Hon. Stacia Jenkins to the King County Solid Waste Advisory Committee, filling a local elected official position (Motion 2015-0299).

o   Neil Crosier to the King, County Emergency Management Advisory Committee as the King County Department of Transportation representative (Motion 2015-0301).

Tuesday, August 18

Health, Housing and Human Services Committee – 9:30 a.m***Special meeting time***

Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full council:

  • A motion in support of a statewide and national ban on nontherapeutic uses of antibiotics in livestock production (Motion 2015-0222).

Discussion:

  • An ordinance adopting the Committee to End Homelessness in King County Strategic Plan and endorsing its goals and principles as a guide by which the county and other members of the Committee to End Homelessness will seek to address and eliminate homelessness over the next four years (Ordinance 2015-0327).

 

Transportation, Economy and Environment Committee – 1:30 p.m. ***Special meeting and location*** The committee will meet at the Google Kirkland Campus, 747 6th St. S., Kirkland
