Students and friends of the Pacific Martial Arts Academy have a goal of 20,000 kicks in a kick-a-thon fundraiser. The kick-a-thon is scheduled 2 to 3:30 p.m. April 4 at the Lake Wilderness Lodge. The students will try to reach the 20,000 kicks in 90 minutes. The event will benefit the Maple Valley Food Bank. The community is invited to come and participate or observe and cheer these young students on in their quest to raise $1,000 in a combination of canned goods and money donations.
