Kentlake High School is in the running to win $100,000 in a contest is called Celebrate My Drive and is asking for support from the community.
The contest is sponsored by State Farm Insurance Company to increase awareness of safe driving strategies for young people.
Those who want to help support Kentlake in the contest can sign up 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15 at Westfield Mall, formlery Southcenter, in front of Macy’s.
Students, parents, family members, friends who are 14 or older are eligible to sign their names.
After the the forms have been signed there is no commitment afterwards.
Another way to sign your name is to do so on-line by going to www.celebratemydrive.com.
Simply go to the web page, select Kentlake High school, and your contribution is complete.
Kentlake hopes to use the money to fund anti-bullying activities such as Breaking Down the Walls, as well as InvestEd, which is a fund that assists those in need in the community to pay for participation fees and class fees.
