Kent, Tahoma schools recognized by King County Green Schools program

Schools in the Kent and Tahoma school districts have been recognized in the King County Green Schools program that encourages schools to be green through recycling and water and energy conservation.

Schools in the Kent and Tahoma school districts have been recognized in the King County Green Schools program that encourages schools to be green through recycling and water and energy conservation.

Both Crestwood Elementary and Tahoma Middle School completed level three of the program that focuses on water conservation.

Covington Elementary completed level two, which focuses on energy conservation.

Completing level one this year, which focuses on recycling, were Cedar Heights Middle School and Jenkins Creek Elementary.
