The city of Covington will reopen Jenkins Creek Park at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, also known as Make a Difference Day.

The city will conduct a ribbon cutting ceremony to properly reopen Jenkins Creek Park. Immediately following the city will honor all volunteers who have made a difference in Jenkins Creek Park and who have helped to make this reopening come sooner than expected.

The event will be at the west side of the upper meadow of Jenkins Creek Park.
