A festive holiday tea may be the answer to erase the bah, hum bug of the busy season. The tea is scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5 at the Maple Valley Creative Arts Center, 23220 Maple Valley Highway S.E.

Elegant pastries from TM Dessertworks, tea, coffee and hot cocoa and spirited entertainment will jingle your bells. Valley Center Stage players will perform the first act of Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” and Susanna Fuller will sing songs of the season.

Tickets are $15 sold in advance. Seating is limited. Take a break from shopping and come celebrate with local friends, family and neighbors. All ages are welcome.
