The National Weather Service high wind warning has been sent out a high wind warning for the Black Diamond, Covington and Enumclaw area during the night and into Saturday.

Winds are predicted to hit 30 to 40 mph with gusts to 65 mph tonight through Saturday morning.

The weather service state the winds will come from the east and could cause downed trees and damage to power lines or other structure.

The recent heavy rains could make the problems of downed trees worse according to the weather service.
