Girlfriend reportedly headbutted by boyfriend|Police Blotter

VIOLATION OF COURT ORDERS

• On July 28 officers were contacted by the reporting party who called to report their brother-in-law was on the property, which is a violation of an anti-harassment order.

VANDALISM

• On July 27 damage to a vehicle while parked in a public parking lot was reported to officers.

ASSAULT

• On July 28 it was reported to officers that a girlfriend had been headbutted by her boyfriend while outside on a city street in Covington.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES

• On July 29 officers were contacted by the reporting party who had just returned home from vacation. The reporting party told officers when they returned home, they saw the screen had been removed from an upstairs window and dirt was found below the window.

• On Aug. 5 it was reported to officers that the victim had received a disturbing photo by mail by an unknown person.

THREATS BY PHONE

• On July 29 it was reported to officers that the victim’s ex-boyfriend was sending her death threats via text messages.

LARCENY

• On July 30 it was reported that seven vehicles parked outside L.A. Fitness had their windows smashed. The police report stated stolen credit and debit cards were used at Fred Meyer immediately afterward.

TRESPASS

• On July 30 two subjects were trespassed from the Maple Valley Safeway. The police report stated the two have a history of theft.

• On Aug. 1 officers trespassed a subject from the Maple Valley QFC for loitering and panhandling.

• On Aug. 3 officers trespassed two subjects from the Covington Safeway. The police report stated the two have a previous history of shoplifting and were officially trespassed after they bought food from the deli.

• On Aug. 4 officers were called to Jenkins Creek Elementary School to reports of a subject found sleeping there. The police report stated the subject was found by security and was found with warrants and drug paraphernalia on them.

DRIVING WITH LICENSE REVOKED

• On July 30 officers pulled a vehicle over that was going 15 miles per hour over the speed limit. The police report stated the driver was driving with a suspended license.

BURGLARY

• On July 31 it was reported to officers that crystal was stolen from a storage unit in Maple Valley.

DUI

• On July 31 officers arrested a driver for driving under the influence. The police report stated the driver also had a concealed pistol violation and drugs were reportedly found inside the vehicle.

• On Aug. 2 officers contacted a driver under the influence in the Bartell Drugs parking lot due to the fact the driver was unable to find the exit.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE VIOLATION

• On Aug. 1 it was reported that a summer school student at Kentwood High School was found to be in possession of marijuana.

• On Aug. 5 officers responded to reports of a subject in violation of the uniform controlled substance act at the Covington library. The police report stated the subject had heroin on them.

IDENTITY THEFT

• On Aug. 1 it was reported that an unknown subject had stolen the victim’s identity. The police report stated the subject had opened bank and credit cards in the victim’s name.

FORGERY CHECKS

• On Aug. 2 officers were called to the Covington Safeway to reports that a subject had forged multiple checks not belonging to him. The police report stated he also was using a fake ID from Wyoming.

FOUND PROPERTY

• On Aug. 2 it was reported to officers that a handgun had been found in a ditch alongside a roadway.

STALKING/HARASSMENT

• On Aug. 3 officers were contacted regarding reports of a suspicious phone call a daycare director had received. The police report stated the call was regarding a family with a protection order.
