All subjects in the police blotter are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
VEHICLE LICENSE VIOLATIONS
• On April 13 the subject’s car was towed because the license tabs expired in October 2014. The driver had been previously warned regarding the expired tabs.
ASSAULT
• On April 13 officers responded to a fourth degree assault at Kentwood High School.
VEHICLE PROWL
• On April 12 around 4:30 a.m. officers made contact with a suspect for prowling vehicles. The suspect also admitted to prowling other vehicles.
LARCENY
• On April 13 officers responded to Safeway to the report of a subject stealing a cart full of diapers. Officers were told the subject left the store and exited the parking lot in a vehicle heading east on SE 272nd Street.
• On April 14 officers spoke with the reporting party regarding items being stolen from their business’ truck. The reporting party told officers the vehicle was parked in their driveway. Some of the stolen items belonged to the reporting party and others belong to others.
• Officers responded to the report of two firearms being stolen from a vehicle.
• On April 15 officers responded to the report that gas was siphoned out of the reporting party’s work van.
• On April 16 officers responded to Walmart to the report of a subject shoplifting DVDs.
