It is reported she fell from a second story window at a residence near Rock Creek Elementary School.

She landed on concrete below, Maple Valley Fire and Life Safety Deputy Chief Dave O’Brien said.

Around 1:15 p.m., children were called inside from the playground and the helicopter was able to land, Kevin Patterson, director of Communication for the Tahoma School District said.

A few moments later, he said, after she was transported to the helicopter it took off.

Aside from Rock Creek Elementary’s playground being used as a landing zone, there is no connection between the child and the district, Patterson said.

At this time there is no update on her status, O’Brien said.
