Four Shillings Short to play at Covington Library

Four Shillings Short, the two person duo of Aodh Og O'Tuama and Christy Martin, play over 30 instruments from around the world and will perform a free concert at the Covington Library from 2 to 3 p.m. on Sept. 15.

Four Shillings Short, the two person duo of Aodh Og O’Tuama and Christy Martin, play over 30 instruments from around the world and will perform a free concert at the Covington Library from 2 to 3 p.m. on Sept. 15.

The multi-cultural educational concert for all ages is called ARound the World in 30 Instruments and will include performances on the Hammered and Mountain dulcimer, mandolin, mandola, bouzouki, tinwhistles, recorders, Medieval and Renaissance woodwinds, North Indian sitar, and more. Music selections will include pieces from Ireland and Scotland as well as from India, Medieval and Renaissance Europe and the Americas.
