King County Councilman Reagan Dunn joined Interim King County Library System Director Julie Acteson and community members to officially reopen the Fairwood Library, part of the King County Library System. Dunn, who represents Fairwood on the Council, released this statement after the event:

“This is a great day for the greater Fairwood community and I am pleased to play a role in re-opening this important community resource.

“Nearly 80 percent of the population in Fairwood use this facility: they check out videos and music, ‘borrow’ eBooks, and take advantage of the free wifi to access the internet. The newly expanded library will increase these opportunities and better serve this community.”
