BURGLARY
• It was reported on April 11 that a commercial burglary took place. According to the police report, an unknown suspect broke the front door of Euphorium Recreation and left with property.
LARCENY
• A suspect stole from Walmart on April 13. An unidentified suspect concealed clothing and cosmetics in their hoody and exited the store. The suspect was then contacted by loss prevention after stealing the items. The suspect returned most merchandise when confronted and then ran off. While the suspect ran off, they pushed or bumped the manager as they ran off during contact.
• It was reported on April 14 that someone entered a victim’s Jeep Wrangler and stole items.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES
• It was reported on April 13 that tools were found outside the emergency exit of the Covington Library.
• On April 15 it was reported a suspicious, possible larceny was interrupted. According to the police report, a suspect was possibly attempting to steal chain saws off a work truck parked inside storage facility.
EMBEZZLEMENT
• An employee stole by debit card at Home Depot on April 14. According to the police report, a police officer was dispatched to Home Depot regarding an internal theft report.
ROBBERY
A robbery was reported on April 15. A male robbed two males in Timberlane in the early morning.
It was reported on April 16 that a suspect pushed a female at the door of Euphoriom, grabbed a bag of cannabis and ran away.
ACCIDENTAL SHOOTING
An accidental discharge of firearm was reported on April 16. According to the police report, a wife accidentally discharged a gun. The bullet went through the bedroom wall and lodged in next door neighbor’s exterior garage siding.
CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
It was reported on April 17 that school security handed over marijuana and paraphernalia for disposal at Mattson Middle School.
STOLEN LICENSE PLATES
A theft of rear license plate was reported on April 12. According to the police report, the victim went into QFC for about 30 minutes when she came out and realized her rear plate was missing.
OPERATOR’S LICENSE VIOLATION
It was reported on April 15 that an unlicensed juvenile was stopped for speeding.
On April 16 a juvenile driver without an ID or license was stopped for not having headlamps on.
VANDALISM
On April 16 suspect(s) tagged a neighborhood playground with graffiti.
TRESPASS
On April 16 it was reported that a male driver was trespassing and driving reckless on a private road.
HIT AND RUN
A driver rear ends another car on April 17. The driver was a suspended driver and fled on foot after the accident. The driver was arrested for hit and run, driving without a license and a warrant. The driver was booked into the Kent Jail.
LIQUOR/TOBACCO VIOLATIONS
It was reported on April 18 that a suspect was caught behind closed businesses intoxicated and in possession of a small amount of marijuana. According to the police report, the suspect was seen with two other males and ran when they were seen by police. When caught, the suspect was intoxicated and in possession of marijuana.
