CREDIT CARD FRAUD: 25500 block of 150th Place Southeast. A phone call from a Walmart.com employee asking to verify a shipping address tipped a man off that someone had stolen his debit card number and used it to make a $185 purchase from the Web site.

DRUGS ARE BAD: Southeast 267th Place and 180th Avenue Southeast. After a motorist was pulled over, it was discovered he was driving with a suspended license and had a large number of individually package baggies of marijuana. The vehicle was impounded.

VANDALISM: 27200 block of 216th Avenue Southeast. Someone threw a rock into a window of a business and smashed the glass out.

PROWLER TURNED BURGLAR: 19900 block of Southeast 260th Court. Emboldened by a successful vehicle break in, the thief then used the garage door opener to attempt to get into the victim’s home, but failed and managed only to break the handle on the garage door.

STOLEN: 16800 block of Southeast Wax Road. Someone stole a white Ford F350 pickup truck from a private residential driveway.

SHOPLIFTER: 22100 block of Southeast 237th Street. A woman put wine coolers in her purse and left the store without paying for them.
NOT NASCAR: 23400 block of Southeast 262nd Street. Someone drove their car on someone’s lawn in the Katesridge neighborhood, causing serious damage.

FORGERY: 26900 block of Maple Valley Highway. A nurse attempted to forge a prescription at the pharmacy at Safeway in Four Corners.
Jan. 21
LOST AND FOUND: 22300 block of Southeast 231st Place. A volunteer turned in a plastic baggie he found while doing clean up in his neighborhood. It contained a small amount of white powder that he suspected might be some kind of illegal drug.

FOR SALE: 22300 Southeast 231st Street. A local agent went to King County Sheriff’s Precinct 3 to report that real estate signs were being stolen from around the city.
