The crackling noise some tires make this time of year that sounds like someone is working on a whole pouch of ‘Pop Rocks’  is about to come to an end.

The deadline to remove studded tires is midnight, March 31. Keeping them on your vehicle past the deadline could result in $124 ticket under state law. There still may be some snow on the mountain passes into April, so if you’re planning a trip to the eastside of the state be sure to keep chains and emergency supplies in your vehicle.
