Covington to host Earth Day volunteer opportunity

Community members are invited to pull on a pair of gardening gloves and participate in a community work party from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 20 the city of Covington will be hosting in honor of Earth Day.

Community members are invited to pull on a pair of gardening gloves and participate in a community work party from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 20 the city of Covington will be hosting in honor of Earth Day.

Volunteers can help spruce up the roundabout at the location of Wax Road and S.E. 267th St. The project will involve planting news trees, shrubs adn other vegetation. Bring your own gardening gloves, other tools will be provided.
