A suspect is in custody after allegedly kidnapping a Covington resident.

According to documents provided by the King County Sheriff’s office, on Nov. 8 the victim was grabbed and forced into a car, then driven to the suspect’s home where the victim was assaulted.

Sgt. John Urquhart explained the case was open and under investigation, so, there was “not much more to say on the case at this time.”

The victim was examined at a local hospital, Urquhart said, then released and that the injuries the victim suffered were not serious.
