Covington church, schools to hand out groceries for those in need Nov. 17 at Kentwood High

Solid Rock Community Church along with Fred Meyer’s, Matson Middle School and Kentwood High School have partnered together to collect groceries for families in our community for this Thanksgiving season.

Solid Rock Community Church along with Fred Meyer’s, Matson Middle School and Kentwood High School have partnered together to collect groceries for families in our community for this Thanksgiving season.

They will hand out 500 bags of groceries at Kentwood High School Saturday, Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Items included:

  • 2 Cans Corn
  • 2 Cans Green Beans
  • 2 Packages Stuffing
  • 2 Packages Gravy
  • 1 Can Sweet Potatoes
  • 1 Can Cranberries
  • 1 Box Double Pie Crust Mix
  • 1 Can Pumpkin Pie Mix
  • 5lbs.Potatoes
  • 1 Dozen Rolls
  • $10 Gift Card(for purchase of Turkey/Ham)

The high school is located at 25800 164th Ave SE, Covington.
