Covington Chamber of Commerce (CCC) requesting nominations for annual Education Volunteer of the Year Award

The Covington Chamber of Commerce (CCC) is requesting nominations for their annual Education Volunteer of the Year Award to volunteers from the Kent School District.

The Covington Chamber of Commerce (CCC) is requesting nominations for their annual Education Volunteer of the Year Award to volunteers from the Kent School District (KSD).

The award will be selected within the following conditions:

  • Nominations must be made in writing or email and provide supporting information to the CCC by Feb. 24.

CCC members and non-members are eligible candidates within the KSD boundaries, defined by the following schools.

  • Kentlake
  • Kentwood
  • Cedar Heights
  • Mattson
  • Cedar Valley
  • Grass Lake
  • Covington
  • Crestwood
  • Jenkins Creek
  • Sawyer Woods

Candidates from private schools and home schools within the KSD are also eligible.

Scholarship donors for the KSD senior graduating schools are eligible.

Candidates can only be awarded once every two years.

Awards will be presented at the March 8 CCC luncheon.
