The Maple Valley City Council approved an ordinance Tuesday for a $22.5 million parks and recreation bond to be placed on the April 26, 2016 special election ballot.
The bond currently includes $5 million for Lake Wilderness Park master plan improvements, $10.5 million to develop the new Summit Park, $1.5 million for Lake Wilderness Golf Course capital improvements, and $5 million for a community park development on the Legacy Site.
City staff will now work on fine-tuning the details of the bond’s projects for the April election.
