Two middle school students are suffering the consequences after bringing realistic looking replica handguns to class.
Earlier today, Covington Police officers responded to Cedar Heights Middle School because students brought at least two toy pistols, according to a city press release. At some point they pointed the replica handguns at other students and made threats.
The two students have been arrested and are being booked at the Youth Services Center and two replica handguns have been recovered.
Police shared a photo of a similar replica pistol. There is no word if the school was placed on a lockdown.
