FIRE ALARM: Kentlake High School. Firefighters responded to a fire alarm at Kentlake High school at about 6 p.m. Feb. 7. A staff member told the firefighters it was caused by burnt food on a stove. The stove was checked and alarm reset.

- It is a good idea to use a false alarm as an opportunity to practice your fire escape plan, and have an exit drill. A school and/or business must exit a building when the alarm goes off so why not make this a practice at home too.
