BLACK DIAMOND
Aug. 1
- BELT TROUBLE: 25500 block of Morgan Street. An officer was dispatched to a report of a person possibly exposing themselves. The caller gave a description of the subject and the officer was able to locate a male subject matching that description. The male subject advised he never exposed himself, but he does have a habit of adjusting his pants. The caller could not advise if the subject completely exposed himself or was just adjusting his pants. The male subject was released from the scene.
July 30
- I WANT MY TWO DOLLARS!: 25500 block of Lawson Street. Officers were dispatched to a verbal dispute. Upon arrival the officers made contact with two subjects that were boyfriend & girlfriend. Both subjects advised they were arguing over family matters and the boyfriend added he just wanted to leave but his girlfriend wouldn’t give him any gas money. Both subjects stated there was no violence or threats given towards each other. The subjects were given Domestic Violence Resource information and the boyfriend left after his girlfriend agreed to give him gas money.
July 25
- MARIJUANA: 32600 block of Lawson Street. An officer observed a vehicle traveling west. A routine records check of the vehicle showed that the registered owner had a suspended driver’s license. A traffic stop was initiated and upon contacting the male driver the officer confirmed the registered owner was the driver. Additionally the officer could smell a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. The male driver advised he had a baggie full of marijuana in his vehicle, as well as a pipe. The officer confirmed the male driver was not under the influence and upon seizing the illegal items he was placed under arrest. The male driver was issued a criminal citation and released from the scene.
COVINGTON
Aug. 7
- DRUNK DRIVER: 17100 block of Southeast 267th Street. After a woman crashed her car into another vehicle it was discovered she was driving under the influence of alcohol.
Aug. 5
- AN HONEST PERSON: 17400 block of Southeast 270th Place. The reporting party found $482 in the bathroom at Walmart.
- FACEBOOK DRAMA: 17500 block of Southeast 261st Place. After discovering his older brother had logged onto his Facebook profile, the suspect became angry and punched his brother in the face, then fled the scene.
Aug. 4
- UNDER THE INFLUENCE: 18700 block of Southeast 265th Street. After smoking meth together, two people got into a fight. One of the individuals involved jumped out of a second story window of a house.
Aug. 3
- GOT WEED?: 17400 block of Southeast 270th Place. A trio of teenagers were caught smoking pot in a car shortly before 5 p.m. in a busy commercial parking lot.
Aug. 2
- ONE FOR YOU, TWO FOR ME: 17400 block of Southeast 270th Place. A woman was arrested for shoplifting after it was discovered she concealed items in her shopping bag along with products she had purchased from Walmart.
Aug. 1
- BURGLARY: 17100 block of Southeast 270th Place. Someone gained access to an electrical room next to the John L. Scott office then cut a hole through sheet rock to get into office. The suspects then stole electronics from the business.
- SHOULDN’T BE DRIVING: 15200 block of Southeast 272nd Street. While driving with a suspended license a man crashed into a woman’s car. No one involved in the wreck was injured.
July 27
- CLOSED? SO WHAT?: 16700 block of Southeast 272nd Street. An intoxicated person refused to leave the Fred Meyer store after it closed.
MAPLE VALLEY
Aug. 5
- THEFT: 25700 block of state Route 169. Someone broke into a shed at Rock Creek Elementary and stole playground equipment.
Aug. 4
- BROTHERLY LOVE: 23200 block of Southeast 287th Street. When a homeowner returned from vacation, wedding rings were missing from the house, which the victim’s brother stayed at while his sibling was out of town.
Aug. 1
- BREAK-IN: 26600 block of 188th Avenue Southeast. Police suspect a man entered the victim’s home through the garage door then used his hands and feet to attempt to break down the victim’s bedroom door in order to assault him. He also threatened the victim while attempting to break into his bedroom.
