The striking teachers of the Kent School District voted firmly in favor this morning of ratifying a new contract with the school district, ending their strike.

Under a recent court order, they were to return to their classrooms today. The Covington Reporter will update this story as soon as more information becomes available, and will confirm whether Tuesday is still the first day of class for students, as had been the district’s previous plan.
