Boys shoplift in front of two officers in Walmart | Police Blotter

Feb. 13

DRUG SIGHTING: 18000 block of Southeast 267th Place. For the past two months, a user of Jenkins Creek Park had gone every day and reported that he had seen a group of five to 15 males, mostly white and in their early 20s, smoking marijuana and passing baggies back and forth between them.

Feb. 12

FRAUD: 16000 block of Southeast 263rd Place. Someone attempted to make an online purchase with the victim’s debit card number.

REPEAT OFFENDERS: 17400 block of Southeast 270th Place. Two juvenile boys attempted to shoplift video games in front of two uniformed police officers and admitted to prior shoplifting. One of the boys had four warrants for his arrest.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: Southeast 269th Street and 171st Place Southeast. A man named Matthew attempted to rob someone of drug money that he was supposed to buy oxycontin with.

Feb. 11

KEEP YOUR FRIENDS CLOSE: 17200 block of Southeast 261st Street. After stealing a number of video games from his friend’s home while his friend was sleeping, the thief then pawned them at Game Stop.

Feb. 10

THEFT: 19400 block of Southeast 266th Street. Someone stole a contractor’s tools from inside a home the contractor was remodeling.

Feb. 9

NOT MY CELL PHONES: 16700 block of Southeast 253rd Place. A woman discovered someone had opened a cell phone account in her name when she received four phones in the mail from Sprint which she did not order. The phones were ordered Feb. 5 but the victim said she wasn’t able to find out when the account was opened.

Feb.13

SCARY PERSON: 21900 block of Southeast Wax Road. A woman with physical disabilities was scared by a man she knows.

ASSAULT: 22000 block of Southeast 270th Street. A man kicked his girlfriend and the mother of their two children in the ribs.

Feb. 11

CREDIT CARD FRAUD: 21200 block of Southeast 271st Street. After receiving his Visa statement in the mail, he realized someone had used his credit card without his authorization, having made nine purchases with the card using PayPal.

Feb. 10

DRUG DISCOVERY: 25400 block of Southeast 274th Place. A man found marijuana in his stepson’s bedroom. The juvenile was charged with misdemeanor possession.

Feb. 9

SUSPICIOUS BEHAVIOR: Southeast 267th and 224th Avenue Southeast. A man followed a boy for several blocks in the Cherokee Bay neighborhood and was later seen near a bus stop.

TURN IT DOWN: 28100 block of 226th Place Southeast. Neighbors complained that another resident nearby had their TV volume turned up too loud. The person was cited for a noise violation.
