Blue Angles are coming to town, plan ahead for road closures | WSDOT

Starting Monday night, July 28, WSDOT will begin nighttime work to remove the double white line that separates the SR 167 HOT lanes and general purpose lanes and replace it with a single white line.

Next week Seafair activities swing into full gear when the U.S. Navy Blue Angels jets fly over Lake Washington, July 31 – Aug 3.

During the daytime practice flights and air show, all lanes and several ramps of I-90 between I-5 in Seattle and Island Crest Way on Mercer Island are required to be closed for the safety of both drivers and pilots.

Drivers should plan ahead give themselves extra time to reach their destination during the closures. You can find more information about the closures on the WSDOT blog.
