The Black Diamond Community Center is looking for a new Board member. Meetings are the second Monday of each month, 6-8 p.m., held at the Community Center.
The board member responsibilities include:
1 – To act as trustee of BDCC on behalf of its donors and/or funding sources;
2 – To determine goals and objectives;
3 – To approve all fiscal, fund development/public relations policies; other guidelines and limits for BDCC’s operation; to approval all revisions of fiscal and personnel policies; authorize the executive director to seek grants with which to operate programs;
4 – To authorize programs sponsored by BDCC;
5 – To evaluate the results of BDCC’s operation;
6 – To appoint an executive director who shall work under the direction of the Board President and shall have general direction and administrative responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the programs sponsored by BDCC;
7 – To engage in fund development and public relations activities sponsored by BDCC.
