Black Diamond church collects hundreds of items during fundraiser

Coats, blankets, food, gloves, socks and hats are among the collected items

Operation Share, led by Lake Sawyer Christian Church, collected a variety of items to support community organizations during a fundraiser Sunday. According to a press release, Lake Sawyer collected 400 coats, 200 blankets, 200 bags of food and hundreds of gloves, socks and hats.“The Black Diamond community really stepped up and met the need of those who don’t have warmth and the comforts of home in the winter,” says Danielle Robbins, a Lake Sawyer member. “I was blown away by the community’s support and generosity to help in this project.”
