Big Lots held a grand opening of its Covington store Sept. 9.
During the grand opening celebration, Big Lots district manager Sheila Marquis presented a $2,500 to Covington Elementary School.
Big Lots is North America’s largest broadline closeout retailer.
The company continues to grow with its newest location set to open at 17307 SE 272nd Street, Covington.
Every Big Lots is specially designed so customers can easily find the brand-name products on their shopping list. The new Covington Big Lots will stock merchandise that typically sells for 20 to 40 percent less than discount stores and up to 70 percent below traditional retailers. At 21,000 square feet, customers will find thousands of products available from everyday consumables, seasonal goods, home decor, electronics, toys, and one-time closeouts other stores just can’t match. Big Lots also offers great values on a full assortment of brand-name furniture and Serta mattresses.
This is just one of 90 stores the retailer is opening in 2011.
The company currently operates 1,415 BIG LOTS stores in the 48 contiguous United States and 88 LIQUIDATION WORLD and LW stores in Canada.
