Air Force Airman 1st Class Thomas T. White III graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

White completed an intensive eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

He earned distinction as an honor graduate of the course.

White is the son of Thomas and Jane White from Maple Valley. The airman graduated in 2002 from Tahoma High School and received a bachelor’s degree in 2008 from Central Washington University.
