A day to begin making a community different

Now in its 20th year, Make A Difference Day, the nation’s largest day of community service, is set for Oct. 23. Millions of Americans will unite in a common mission to improve the lives of others on Make A Difference Day.

Millions of Americans will unite in a common mission to improve the lives of others on Make A Difference Day.

During the past ten years, the Rotary Club of Maple Valley and the city of Maple Valley have joined to bring volunteers and projects together.

Financial assistance is currently available for Maple Valley’s Make a Difference Day projects and acts of service.

Applications from local residents, non-profits and service organizations will be accepted until noon on Monday, Sept. 27.
