Kentlake High’s Idol talent show drew a large crowd and impressive talent for the event Thursday.

The Blue Armada Band took first place. The members of the band are Branden Balles, Alex Asheim, Rod Sanchez, Alex Duarte. The group performed “Sweet Emotion” by Aerosmith.

Second place went to Crystal Hedding accompanied by Jill Jamison preforming “Bless the Broken Road” by Rascal Flats.

The Black Veil Rebellion earned third. The group members are Drew Stergion, Christian Olson, Garrett Powers and Jacob Lopez. They preformed, “Visual Perception Meets Deception,” an original composition.

The program raised money for the class of 2009 senior graduation party. The party is an all-night event that provides a safe and supervised event for the students.
