The event is from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Kentwood High School on Friday, March 25.
Tickets can be purchased at the door for $8, if presale tickets were not purchased (presale tickets ended on March 16).
Children under 12 are free with paid admission.
Tickets do not include the cost of food.
Events include: judo club from each of the district’s four high schools, taiko drum group performance and a fashion show.
Japanese cuisine such as yakisoba and gyoza as well as other snack items popular in Japan will be available for purchase.
Activity booths hosted by each high school’s Japan club will be available.
Each high school will also have representative acts in the festival talent show.
Proceeds from the festival will benefit the districts Japan exchange and Judo programs.
