To kick off the holiday season, the city of Maple Valley hosted its annual Hometown Holidays event on Dec. 6. at Four Corners. There was an official tree lighting to start the night off and then children and families were able to explore the area decked out in lights and have some holiday fun. There was “snow” falling, singing and even brightly lit trains to ride on. Santa showed up not long after on a fire truck to say hi to all the good girls and boys. He made his way over to Station 80 to take Santa photos with families as well.
